K and J Trucking Addition
Project Overview
Unassuming facade, appropriately blended
K and J Trucking is a respected family-owned carrier with a fleet of 100+ trucks that include temperature-controlled and dry van units. Starting in Sioux Falls in 1979, the company garnered steady growth and now has a satellite terminal in Guymon, Oklahoma. With solid leadership and the most current policy and technology, they also now have a building in Sioux Falls to suite their ever-growing needs.

The addition to K and J Trucking is pre-engineered metal with unassuming facade, and appropriately blends 14,000 square feet of administration office space with the remaining service shop area, nearly doubling the total footprint of the original building. The large bank of commercial truck servicing lanes includes internal wash bays with sand/oil separators, a proportionately-sized emergency diesel generator, and integrated cafe/driverโs lounge. A catwalk above the shop serves to improve communication between departments and vehicle inspection. The exterior also includes a secured and covered fueling station.
